Healthy Sleep Remedies e-book Review- Must read before you buy !! Insomnia and sleep solutions
Say goodbye to insomnia and finally sleep through the night
After spending many many many hours awake at night and seeing specialists for no results I decided to browse the internet for a miracle solution so I could sleep. I found a lot of stuff some the crazy ideas some weird CDs, and funny sleep gizmos. I purchased about 3 e-books on sleep before I found this one: Healthy Sleep Remedies, and boy am I happy I found it !! Nowhere else did I find the information in this book, no other book, no other $75 per hour sleep specialist gave it to me.
Let me tell you a little more about me. I had had sleep problems for about 7 years now. I am the typical case and many of you will recognized yourself in me. I would fall asleep around 10 p.m., dead asleep. Then I would wake up around 12 a.m., turn and toss in my bed, go get a glass of water, back to bed toss and turn, watch t.v., read a book, write some emails and finally around 4 a.m. go back to sleep, to wake up two hours later. I tried many solutions, nothing did it. I was so exhausted. I remember in the beginning I had period where it would take me 2 hours to fall asleep. That was torture, and I'd wake up two hours later.
Believe it or not, all this is over! Thanks to one and only one book I can sleep. Healthy Sleep Remedies not only changed my sleep habits or rather lack of sleep habits, it changed my life.
In his book the author will give you detailed informations on how to improve your sleep. It is very well written with great, simple to understand explanations. No big words, no complicated phrases. It is plain simple and easy to implement. I am the type of person to start something and give up after 2 or 3 days because it is too complicated. Not with this book it is not.
Here are the main points covered in the book:
-Implement a consistent plan of action to fall asleep
-Food choices to fall asleep faster and stay asleep
-How to use a flower, yes a flower (this is an awesome tip) to help you sleep
-Figure out if your mattress is messing up your sleep
-Some explanations about how sleep works (understand your enemy to better attack it; I love that)
-What exercises can dramatically improve your sleep
-A great and easy way to clear your head so you can fall asleep. I used to think and think and think at night; this page alone was worth the whole book to me (p.30)
-Various herbs explained
-What stuff you should absolutely avoid to ingest so you can sleep
-An awesome breathing technique, I have no idea where he found that. You've got to read that part (p.18)
That is just an overview of the main key points. The book is packed with useful information about sleep.
Now for the negative part: On his web-page the author starts by saying: If it takes you 30 minutes to fall asleep, you suffer from insomnia, I do not agree with that statement, I think insomnia is more than that. Also, in the book, the author does not go in depth about explaining the circadian rhythm, the sleep phases and how hormones regulate sleep. I would have liked to see that included in the book. The other negative thing I would like to add is: Where are the bonuses? Most e-books out there come with bonuses. This one does not. But for the price, can we really expect any? This book is only $15.97, which is rather low for an e-book. However the content is far from being cheap. It is well researched and I do not think there is any useless information.
You do not have to implement everything in the book to improve your sleep. There is actually extra meat; it all works, because I did do everything in the book, and that is why I decided to review it.
Here is how I personally benefited from the book:
-Within 2 days after reading it, I slept for 5 hours straight (never happened in 7 years)
-Within a week I was falling asleep 10 minutes after going to bed and staying asleep for at least 6 hours
-After 9 days, I was able to fall asleep within 5 minutes after turning the light off (I didn't even think that was possible), and sleep until the next morning (7 hours of sleep)
-I am now on that same schedule, I go to bed, 5 minutes later I am asleep (well sometimes it takes me 10) and I sleep through the night like a baby.
-I have more energy.
-I am more productive at work.
-I am less angry and enjoy spending time with my family.
I personally think that if you even have the slightest sleep problem, you should get this book. For only $15.97, heck you won't find a better deal, and like me you'll sleep peacefully. Sure there is no bonus, sure I will not get the full story about the circadian rhythm but I sleep, and that change my life.
